I have noticed that almost every food blogger that I know works out regularly! No wonder you guys don’t get fat even after all that yummy food you guys make, taste test, and taste test again. I can imagine just how much tasting needs to be done for each recipe. And then there are restaurant review bloggers that I know who are not fat either. Eating out so much can be extremely fattening, which is why they seem to be regulars at the gym to avoid getting fat. It all makes sense now. Most of the food bloggers that I know seem to be pretty fit, and even ones that are not that fit are nowhere near being fat. I think that I am probably one of the few food bloggers out there that don’t work out as much as I probably should. I mean I do work out, but probably not nearly as consistently as I should be. I’ve been gradually getting better at it again though.
I started hitting the gym regularly again after I hearing this. The little membership card on my keychain has been serving a purpose of being more than just a keychain accessory lately. I go to the gym for convenience, but if I could, I’d choose to hike more often in lieu of going to a stuffy gym.
I packed my Hello Kitty backpack and headed over to Baldwin Hills Scenic Overlook to burn off some calories after eating all day.
I was ready to climb some stairs!
I am so out of shape that I need to take breaks while climbing up. I stop, take some photos looking down, drink some water, then go again.
Climbing is one of my favorite exercises, which is why the stairmaster is probably one of my favorite equipments at the gym. I normally enjoy coming to BHSO, but this time, it was just waaay too overcrowded. I hate overcrowded places. There were too many people getting in the way. The people in the photos are just random fellow hikers getting in the way lol.
Whenever someone was passing by, I had to take a whiff of their sweaty B.O. Some people stink more than others…..like really really stink. I guess the stairs is the main thing that people come here for….it certainly is what I came for.
I usually climb up a few times when I am here. I love the burn that I feel as I am climbing up. When I finally reach the top, it’s like Whew! I finally made it. Notice how people are always photo-bombing my shots?
